Chanukah gift guide

Welcome to the guide
Welcome to Cookiecad’s Chanukah 3D printing gift guide: a free resource created by the Cookiecad community for makers, families and creative dreamers who want to bring light, love and handmade joy to the Festival of Lights.
This guide helps you craft meaningful, personalized Chanukah gifts right from your home. Whether you’re making a dreidel or a dreidel launcher, a unique menorah or any other Chanukah keepsake, it shows you how to get started, sparks your creativity and makes every print feel special.
3D printing is evolving fast, opening up endless ways to design, personalize and share what you make. You don’t need to be an engineer or an artist: just be curious and willing to experiment. By the end of this guide, you’ll have the confidence and inspiration to design and print your own Chanukah creations, gifts that celebrate tradition, creativity and the joy of making something by hand.
Our aim is to give makers of all levels the knowledge and inspiration to create thoughtful, personal Chanukah gifts, and to show how 3D printing can bring more light, imagination and connection to the holiday season.

Eight nights of Chanukah calendarModel on PrintablesA Chanukah gift calendar for the eight days of festivities. Inspired by family and community, each drawer stands for the love our families bring us and the joys we receive every day. It prints in parts without supports and needs no assembly: print each section in your favorite colors to build the cutest little town. Each drawer, numbered 1 to 8, holds a small gift, money, a toy, candy or a dreidel, to be opened one night at a time.

Dreidel and launcherModel on PrintablesThis design makes spinning a dreidel as easy as can be. Compete for a few chocolate gelt this Chanukah and win the pot against your family and friends. The launcher prints with almost no supports: remove one tiny piece after printing so the launcher fits inside the handle.

Print-in-place dreidel puzzleModel on PrintablesThis dreidel-shaped puzzle may not spin so well, but it will keep you busy for hours. It prints in place without supports: print the base and the handle separately, then insert the handle and start solving. The optional letters print separately and can be glued into place. Challenge everyone you know this Chanukah!

Menorah playsetModel on PrintablesA playset kids love: print each piece without supports and let them light their own menorah again and again. We printed the flames in a gradient filament for an almost realistic effect. The model comes in two versions; scale the full model down to at least 75% to fit most printer beds.
